The Lamar varsity basketball team lost in an intense game against Arlington high
ending the game 51-53, two points away from victory.
“The Vikings did all we could,” senior Ky Pointer.
The Viking were up in the first quarter by scoring 18 points against arlington high’s 17. The team kept the momentum going throughout the first and second quarter scoring 13 more points and stayed on a roll until the colts started to catch up with 12 points scored in the third quarter with the vikings only scoring 8.
After the second quarter the colts had caught up and were winning against the vikings with 18 points scored to the lamar 12. In the end the colts were the winning team by two points up.
