Bruno Mars Wins Big at the 2018 Grammy Awards

2018 has definitely started off impressive night for R&B/Pop singer, Bruno Mars, some would describe the 2018 grammy’s as unbelievable and some what disappointing. But one descriptive word we might all agree on: Unforgettable.

To be a victor of record, album, and song of the year in one night is rare, especially for an R&B artist. Every category that he was nominated for Bruno Mars won, passing both Jay-Z and SZA, who unfortunately didn’t win any rewards.

Mars received album and record of the year for 24k Magic, and song of the year for “Thats What I Like”, which was No. 1 on the R&B charts for more than 15 weeks.

Bruno’s total amount of awards for was just a few wins away from reaching Michael Jackson, who won eight in 1984 Thriller.

Although Mars didn’t touch Michael Jackson , he is one of the many artist that was given six or more grammy’s in a single ceremony, along side Beyonce, U2 and many others.

Aside from Bruno Mars’ amazing night, on the red carpet before the ceremony, many stars were seen wearing and carrying white roses, in support of the #TimesUp movement, which supports the many women that are treated unfairly in the entertainment industry.
