Lady Vikings Soccer

Our 2018 lady Vikes start off season with a smash being 4th in our district out of 7 schools. From playing in rain, to foggy humid nights, our ladies make sure they show other teams that they are a threat, no matter the weather conditions or competition.

With the team’s high hopes of winning districts, their hopes can easily become a reality, with Arlington High being first in our district, Mansfield High in second place, and Martin High in third place. The ladies hold six wins from this season and many more wins to come.

“My expectations as a team going into this year were pretty high,” said sophomore Mia Paladini. “Making it to playoffs was one, but more than that, I wanted us to be competitive with the top teams and show our skill, while also growing closer as a team. I think we will definitely reach my team goal expectations of winning and advancing to playoffs.”

February 27th, our Vikes faced North Crowley once again. The result ending in a 6-0 win, with junior Brennan Reuland scoring twice, junior Jordan Michie scoring once, and sophomore Kella Hardin scoring three goals!

“It’s more of a type of family chemistry that we have going on up top,” said sophomore Kella Hardin. “That chemistry not only allows us to create and finish the scoring opportunities we produce, but we also have so much fun while doing it.
