Oprah 2020?

After winning the Cecil B. DeMille award at the Golden Globes, ideas and rumors have spread a possible 2020 election runner in Oprah Winfrey.

Despite any public statement from Oprah herself, current ‘president’ Donald Trump has made sure to comment on the events.

“Yeah, I’ll beat Oprah,” he said in a completely unrelated meeting on immigration. Clearly demonstrating his focus of topic and maturity.

He made sure to note how well he knows her, being featured on her talk shows before and recalling her as a “popular, brilliant, and wonderful woman.”

Yet even with his remarks, he also states that “she won’t run.” Hopefully we’ll be able to say the same thing about him.

However, considering President Trump supports something like the repeal of Net Neutrality or the accused pedophile Roy Moore, no one can be sure if he’ll even get the point that he’s not particularly wanted in office – or anywhere really.

Though, with Oprah’s friends and confidants already urging her to run and Barack Obama’s Iowa state director reaching out supposedly, it wouldn’t be much of a stretch to say that one of the world’s most positively recognizable faces may be running for office.

Regardless, it would be a much better idea to have a legitimate politician in office – but for some reason that’s a foreign concept to our government – considering they elected a man whose career began with the idea that Barack Obama wasn’t an American, a man born in the state of Hawaii due to the origin of one of his parents. That alone is enough to tell a person about the ‘conservative’ mindset of the sorry excuse of a man.

If Oprah is to run, interesting will be one of the many words to describe it and hopefully she will withhold a virtuous set of beliefs. Yet no matter the runner, we can at least guarantee that the election year will be very, very interesting.
