Lamar Athletes Sign ‘National Letters of Intent’

Last Wednesday afternoon, senior athletes Jaylon Humbles and Cooper Schutte both signed their National Letters of Intent.  

Humbles signed to Seminole State College, and Schutte signed to Harding University.  The baseball team and family members all captured this moment that will shape the next chapter of these young athletes’ lives.  

Humbles started on the varsity team his freshman year and Schutte started his sophomore year.  Humbles had options to a D1 college, but chose a different path to Seminole State College.

Schutte had options to D3 colleges for football but chose to go to Harding University.
